Happy DIwali from Jhalak Dance Academy! This Diwali is a different one for everyone. COVID19 has changed everything for everyone. Festivals, holidays and birthdays have been celebrated in a different way this year.
Diwali is a big festival for Hindu’s. Diwali is known as the festival of lights. Diwali is celebrated to welcome Lord Ram back to Ayodhyay from a 14 year exile in the forest. DIwali is a time to celebrate the light and brilliance in our life and throw away the darkness from our lives.
This year Jhalak Dance Academy will be celebrating Diwali in a unique way. Students, teachers and parents can dress up in their Indian clothes when coming to the studio between November 9 – 15. On Saturday 21, Jhalak Dance Academy will be hosting a virtual Diwali party on Zoom. We will be eating, creating diwali crafts, dancing and having a lot of fun.
We hope you all have a Happy Diwali! To all our Gujarati families, Happy New Year!
